TERMS & LIABILITY

How we handle liability, insurance, and the fine print.

Plain-language terms covering how we handle liability, insurance, restricted items, and payment, so there are no surprises before we get your shipment moving.

Note: This page summarizes our standard terms in plain language. It is not a substitute for a signed service agreement, and is provided for general information only, not legal advice. For a specific shipment, the terms confirmed at time of booking govern.

01

Scope of service

Miracle Mile Courier provides on-board courier (OBC) hand-carry delivery, meaning a courier personally accompanies your shipment as carry-on or checked baggage on a commercial flight, from pickup through delivery. We do not tender shipments as air freight or cargo.

02

Liability

Our liability for loss, damage, or delay of a shipment is limited in accordance with the Warsaw Convention and/or Montreal Convention, whichever applies to the route and carriage in question, consistent with standard practice across the on-board courier industry. These conventions cap carrier liability at a fixed amount per kilogram unless a higher value is declared in advance.

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to flight cancellations, weather, air traffic control delays, customs holds, or acts of government.

03

Cargo insurance

Cargo insurance is not automatically included in a standard booking. If you would like additional coverage beyond the default carrier liability limits above, let us know before booking and we can arrange it as an add-on, priced separately based on declared value.

04

Prohibited & restricted items

We do not hand-carry items that violate TSA, airline, or destination-country regulations. Items containing lithium batteries, hazardous materials, or other regulated content must be disclosed at the time of booking so we can confirm whether hand-carry is permitted or whether alternate handling is required.

05

Payment terms

Quotes are provided prior to dispatch and confirmed before a courier is assigned. Payment terms are agreed at time of booking. Rush and emergency dispatch (under 4 hours' notice) may carry an additional fee, disclosed as part of your quote.

06

Cancellations

If a job is cancelled after a courier has been dispatched or a flight has been booked, costs already incurred (including non-refundable airfare) may be billed to the client. Cancellations before dispatch typically carry no charge.

07

Confidentiality

Shipment details, including origin, destination, and cargo description, are treated as confidential and are not shared outside of what's necessary to complete delivery (e.g. customs documentation where legally required).
